Author Topic: Harrier Jet  (Read 2851 times)

With the HC mod, i thought that it could possibly work for a harrier jet (which i dont think is on blockland). The Harrier Jet can hover land and or take off possibly. It can land completely vertical.
\Its hovering here.

Of course im not begging for this, but i just thought it might be cool.

I think if you make a helicopter that looks like a plane, then that harrier would work.

Actually it wouldn't necessarily need to be a helicopter type vehicle.

I might/defiantly-will make something like this eventually, though it won't be an actual Harrier.

Harriers are stuffty and over-rated. They aren't very good planes at all. Should you want a VTOL, I would suggest the F-35. Although it is a STOVL, I think it can take off vertically...

That's true, F-35 Lockheed-Martin has fan vertical landing and not exhaust. I dont think that they will be made though because they cost a bunch. Someone could also make a UAV.

Very awesome idea.
Fighter Jet + that vertical take-off support script please and thenks.

Actually, it uses both. The fan opens up at the front and the exhaust thingamabobber tilts downward as well. If it was just the fan it wouldn't have enough thrust and it would flip over because it isn't centred. And yes they are made. Canada just bought a bunch of them and I think the UK is using them now.

I watched a video about them today in engineering :3.

Ah.
Anyway, I was thinking of other things that could be an STOL, and I would like an autogyro. I'm too young to use one IRL, but I have used one in x-plane and it is by far my favourite vehicle. And I trust how realistic x-plane is.

Both FSX and X-palne are realistic. Depending on what aircraft you use :3

This is a great suggestion. MUST BE MADE.

meh, i tried to put the HCS datablock on the vehicle DB of the fighter jet, it messed my blockland....

that script doesn't make a helicopter hover you know.

yeah ik, but is a starting for a VTOL... not a hovering plane
