speed of light transportation would require an infinite source of fuel.
No, not infinite, just LARGE amounts of energy. All you have to do is create a bubble around you that distorts space-time; The space-time in front of you compresses you, pulling you in, while the space-time behind you expands, pushing you in. This results in movement that is fasted that light, but does not break any law of physics/relativity.
The only thing we must innovate in is finding expanded fuel sources.

That's called
warp speed

no, warp is like, instant, this is FTL or simply said, just TL. seems simpler than warp speed considering the effects on wrinkling space-time.

"Warp speed" boggles my mind. I can't seem to grasp how you contract space infront of you and expand it behind you while not moving, thus having standard issues involving bigger and bigger ships needing more and more thrust not apply.

no

what you explained is warp speed exactly

Okay seriously what the forget are you guys even trying to talk about here?

We're talking about how wonderful the word "estate" is.

you said warp speed was NEAR the speed of light travel. i'm talking about the bigger league; FASTER than light travel. just throw in a few superluminosity factors and bam, but youll need like, powerful nuclear reactors or something. infinite and super-reliable (not really)

Sun goes up, sun goes down. Never a miscommunication. You can't explain that.

until we can find out a way to go faster than warp speed can make us travel warp speed is our best bet.

the earth turns

i explained it  :cookieMonster:

speaking of faster than light travel

if we could isolate the energy of a tachyon
