- Testing will continue on the Cloudwalker, as a slightly slower but much larger jet, at the very least high subsonic, may be produced in the future. However, one of the designers stated the followng: "The jumbo we have planned is nothing more than some marks on a whiteboard. Do not expect it for many years. But the Cloudwalker has performed beautifully so far, with only minor and easily fixed glitches." Work continues on the Cloudwalker's hydrogen fueled engines, making them more effecient.

-Two Hydra space fighters collided, however both crews ejected succesfully and their escape modules were recoverd by shuttles a few minutes later. The two wrecked fighters have been destroyed with rockets, leaving debris that will burn up before crashing.

     Today the nation held their breath as the two construction points at the middle of the space elevator cable meet at a stunning 18,000km above sea level.
     "This marks a huge advancement in space technology and exploration," Saegan Tehaslava, one of the directors of the XSA said, "it has been a frightful way up, but at last we can breathe again." The elevator is said to cut space launch costs by at least 80%. The material for the cable is composed of lightweight but strong Medoanium Alloy E nanotubes. The cable alone costs about XA$35 billion.
     "Though the actual elevator will not be in service for a few more months, I believe that by the time it is completed, we will finally be able to ditch rockets all together." When finished, the cost of sending cargo into the end space station will cost just about XA$1600 per kilogram. Upgrades may push the price further down.

Tharsha has begun investigations in Nivug to see about possible human rights violations. A shuttle has been dispatched to meet with their leaders.
