Off-topic: Skyrim Unbound is an alternate start mod, pretty superior to Alternate Start LAL. Less buggy too. Check it out, you might like it.

I might install SU. If I were to uninstall AS:LAL I wouldn't lose my save file would I? Sorry again, I'm pretty new to modding with Skyrim.

In general, don't uninstall mods while you are playing. EVER. Just wait until you are done with that save file. Installing new mods is generally okay though.

i'm honestly unfamiliar with all the alternate start mods, your best bet is to do a back up of your save file now, uninstall it, try and load it, and see if it works.  i would think it would since i don't think it does any content addition but just moves around base content.

also i know this is totally the wrong thread, but i picked up FO3:GotY and now I'm totally playing tale of two wastelands stabley :DDDD
