You do know reviewers are incredibly biased (when a game first comes out) and I doubt they've spent enough time playing the game. Oblivion looked epic at first but after 50 hours the flaws just hit you like a train.
seriously bro why do you keep finding ways to hate this game, what did skyrim do to you :(

Because I don't let hype get to me. I also never said I hated Skyrim! I just don't think it's going to be 100% exactly what the reviewers are saying.

nor do I, i don't buy a game because of reviews, but Bethesda makes great loving games, and i wouldn't doubt this being amazing.

Oblivion is far from great, it's severely flawed. Every cave/dungeon/temple/ruin/etc looks exactly the same as the last one, guards have an usually high view distance because they can see through walls, short list of voice actors - everyone sounds the same, THE BUGS, poorly scripted dialogue, bad main story, etc.

If you play Oblivion for just enough you will not experience or get tired of these long repetitions. I wouldn't suggest playing it for over 100+ hours because then the repetition will really start to annoy you.

I never played oblivion, the fallout series are great.

Fallout 3 while it may not have as much repetition as Oblivion it still suffers from a lack of character development as mostly everyone feels like a cardboard cutout.

They ran out of disk space due to not-so-super compression. This will rock your socks.

The following actors were confirmed to be providing voices:

    * Christopher Plummer (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Insider)
    * Max Von Sydow (The Exorcist, Minority Report)
    * Joan Allen (The Contender, The Bourne Ultimatum)
    * Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman)
    * Michael Hogan (Battlestar Galactica)
    * Vladimir Kulich (The 13th Warrior, Smoking Aces)
    * Claudia Christian (Babylon 5)
    * Diane Louise Salinger (Carnivale)
    * Renee Victor (Weeds)
    * George Coe (Transformers: Dark of the Moon)

Here is a list of voice actors in Skyrim, now don't be fooled! These guys are probably just voicing main story quest related characters, the filler characters are probably voiced by a much shorter list.

Fallout 3 had its share of celebrity voice actors but everyone still ended up sounding the same.

You always should have a clear leveled perspective of a game you haven't played yet. Think of a long straight line, that is how you should feel until you play the game.

If your line moves up too high before playing the same you may be up for disappointment, if your line moves too low you may not even get the game and your view of the game is permanently impaired.

Right now everyone's lines have skyrocketed in this thread when they should really still have a leveled perspective.

People have a mindset that a game that was in development for 12 years would be the best thing ever. Everyone's bar was raised so high to impossible expectations that this game could never match up.

I played the game without any high or low expectations and I still had fun with the game.

I told you, you need to have a leveled perspective before you play ANY game.
