Wasn't Tony at one point complaining that dying in Oblivion didn't erase many hours of progress?

Actually no, not at all. Someone took what I said out of context because they didn't fully understood what I've meant.

I meant something like a checkpoint system and every time you died you respawned at that checkpoint. I really don't know how anyone could confuse that for having their progress erased.
