I named my character Mint and I'm an Imperial. :cookieMonster:

I'm serious.

Azura's shrine quest is really cool.

Anyone join the thieves guild? They seem less bad ass than before.

So does the Dark Brotherhood, but that's probably because it's just a shell of what it was two hundred years before. Instead of an influential organization of skilled assassins, it's now just a band of murderers.

Really, I thought the opposite.
The thieve's guild in oblivion was too righteous for my tastes. These guys still uphold the no honor among thieves contradiction, but care less about those not in their ranks.

I like how your character stops chopping firewood after three or four logs, so one can't leave his character chopping firewood overnight and sell it all in the morning for a massive profit.

I would have rather the wood cutting thing to be a minigame like in Fable or something. It's really boring to just hit the action button and wait.

Better question, who even chops firewood?
It sells for like, 5 gold each and takes too long.

I could raid a dungeon in half the time it would take to get all the firewood to add up to the profits of my dungeon loot.

smithing is so easy to train it's not even funny.

Of course, I'm still working towards 100 destruction- i've got 64 as of now.

I need two hundred more gold to buy a house in Whiterun, which will give me a place to dump all my worthless crap and free up a boatload of space in my inventory. Wood chopping is a good way to make small amounts of money.

So is selling some of that junk you know.
The difference is it takes about 5 seconds to sell your stuff, but 5 seconds to prepare your axe.

Ugh, my brother farms smithing.

The dark brotherhood is funny. They hire me to keel people so I keel everyone in the DB.

I found a really useful glitch for selling loot easier. When you sell stuff, the merchant runs out of gold really quickly, so usually you have to either find another merchant or wait 3 days. Well, there's a glitch that will reset their gold.

After you sell stuff and they run out of gold, save. Then attack them until they turn hostile, then load. Talk to them again and their gold will be replenished. I think the NPC has 2 assigned inventories, 'merchant' mode and 'attack' mode. When they switch, the game forgets the state of gold in their 'merchant' inventory, even in between loads. Really useful. Overall, I had like 3000 pounds (weight not value) of stuff to sell that would have taken real life hours to sell with other means.

I use Tonila of the Thieve's Guild since she buys items of any type, as well as stolen stuff. If anyone can point me in the direction of a merchant that has more than 1000 gold, and buys all item types including stolen, I would appreciate it.

I'm contemplating whether or not I wish to join or kill the DB. I'm going to kill the orphanage bitch but I don't know if I want to just kill Astrid or whatever her name is or not. Afterall, I'm a Stormcloak so >killing the emperor< seems fitting, but I'm also not a stealthy or evil guy so I don't know.
