skyrim had z-targeting for third-person view.
Then I may just be enticed to play in third-person more often.

Thinking of reinventing my character. Still an assassin, but with dragonscale armor and two war axes instead of his two swords and Thieves Guild armor. The bow and dagger for stealth still remain, but now I'm hoping he'll give off a sort of cold-blooded-Boba-Fett-esque vibe.

skyrim had z-targeting for third-person view.
That would probably make it easier to do combat in third person, but I feel it would break the game somehow. It doesn't seem like it would fit.
