I don't see Hearthfire there.

I was fighting bandits in front of Bleak Falls Barrow, when I suddenly found myself down to the last bandit, an archer. Approaching her with my axe, holding it high as though I'd cleave the very earth in two, I delivered a brutal finishing blow:

>Bring axehandle over bandit's head and around to the back of the neck
>CRUNCH
>CRUNCH
>CRUNCH
>CRUNCH
>Dead

I wasn't looking at the time until I heard the sickening reports, but it seemed logical to assume he had headbutted her until her neck snapped on the axehandle. Absolutely barbaric.
It was all I could do not to yell "FATALITY!"

i guess could say the bandit couldn't

handle that much force

started my hearthfire non-combat playthrough which is more like, roleplaying a guy who really isn't good at combat, nor has the will to purchase things to prepare for combat. i dualwield pickaxe/woodaxe with ragged tunic and boots. I'm the thane of Falkreath and now plan on chopping firewood for a few hours and selling it to someone to get the money to start on the Hearthfire house.

Is hearthfire even any good?
I know its only $5, but it doesnt really seem like something i'd be interested in.

it is amazing. especially if you like just being "awesome" "epic" "cool" "good" or even "the best." also if you like roleplay it's good.

I liked it, though I got over-hyped for it and started dreaming up all this Sims-esque crap and was disappointed by my own high expectations. Oh well. Still very good.
I must have poured forty thousand gold into my Falkreath house before I ever finally considered it complete.

Decided to make Ansgar the crazy nastyass Nord warrior. I'll focus on enchantment this time around, as I've never really bothered with it before. Enchantment, Speech, and Smithing, beyond the combat skills.

Another quite disappointing DLC. I wish they made another big one.

PARAPHRASING BETHESDA "We'll be releasing larger DLC with smaller ones inbetween to give extra content in the gaps."

so shut up. and stop complaining. if you want big dlc go make your own and stop whining.

I'm okay with Hearthfire because they have to support it with bug fixes and whatever is in it can be used as a base for mods that do it better with less room for forgetups.

installed a bunch more mods for my non-combat playthrough. let's hope my save doesn't break.

changing non-combat into more of a 'roleplay.' got an imperial bow and a few iron arrows, but still saving the 5k gold it's gonna take to buy the land in Falkreath.

EDIT:did i also mention i'm not fast travelling? i'm letting myself use carriages, but no fast travel.

I married Ysolda and at our wedding a bunch of Khajiit caravaneers showed up... heading to whiterun by carriage and then by foot to riverwood to join the hunting guild from a mod.
EDIT:while in whiterun found a random dead guard and a bunch of people going "Oh! What happened?"
