How do you solve the puzzles in certain ruins? The ones with the three rings, and you insert the dragon's claw? I just guess around until I get them, usually.

then, when I ventured to solitude and encountered a frost dragon, I got my hairy Dova ass handed to me because he was actually paying attention to me.

The order of the images on the rings is on the claw itself, just look at the claw in your inventory.

I've gotten pretty lucky with this, the dragons always seem to be near some giants that distract it.
Of course then I'm stuck fighting giants afterwards, but turning into a werewolf usually helps me out with this.

Is it possible to encounter dragons before you do in the main quest?

so i was doing a quest for the college of winterhold and some friend shot some ice spells at me. and now i have permanent ice spikes in my body. i cant find a way to get rid of them. its slowing my framerate down too since they have all these particle effects.

and fox. you encounter the first dragon in the main quest right at the beginning of the game, so...

I'm in the barrow near ivarstead, Im further down into the dungeon and I am standing on what seems to be a frozen pool of rainbow juice.

I think it's some kind of oil. Try to set it on fire after stepping out of it. :l

well it is a pretty amazing game. really just depends on your income, if you have a job then do it for sure. if you dont and you just scrounge money then its a harder decision.
