Hold down the action button. "X" for playstation 3.

I've played too much Skyrim for today.

yeah hold down whatever action btton it is, rather than adding it to your inventory it should just pick it up.

impossible

There are no classes in Skyrim; you basically just level up certain skills to build your character to fit your playing style. I am a warrior in light armor, and I wield a one-handed weapon. When you level up, you get to pick a perk for a specific skill. This perk can be anything from 20% extra damage with a certain weapon type to a 15x damage bonus when sneak attacking with daggers. Thus, when I level up I choose perks for one-handed, block, and light armor.
So is it like fallout?

This makes no sense. I was screwing around with .ini settings, and changing the shadow resolution from 512 to 8192 doesn't affect my frame rate in the least. Doing the same thing in Crysis brought my frame rate from 30-something all the way down to 2.

So is it like fallout?
You advance your skills by using them, not by distributing points on level ups.
YOu don't get experience from kills, you get it from leveling your skills.

I've been playing this nonstop for 24 hours now, this is the most amazing thing ever. Very beautiful.

Me and my dad played Skyrim last night for 5 hours.

i know pc version has 360 controller use. but i prefer mouse for play.
but i do not like how menus work, its hard to use wasd for arrow keys in menus, and e+r to select things...
