you have to exit the conversation with the priest once the part about the rings comes up than talk to her quick before she leaves the church. It is bugged and she vanishes.

I'm having a lot of fun just doing the easy thieves guild quests you get from Vex and Delvin. I've just completed a special job that got the guild support from the Battle-Borns as well as a new merchant moving into the Ragged Flagon.
