Some characters, you have to complete a quest for you to be able to marry them. For example, the merchant bitch in Riverwood, you have to retrieve the golden claw for her dad/brother (idk which) in order to marry her. Otherwise you're just a stranger to them really.

I find the Amulet of Talos to be more valuable than any I've found. I believe so far I've found the amulets of Talos, Mara, Akatosh, and Stendarr. Maybe Dibella as well, I'm not certain.
Talos' amulet makes the time between shouts 20% shorter; the effect is noticeable, I was surprised.

I found a note in the ragged flagon about some glass arrows hidden somewhere in the riften docks.
Where are they hidden?

Same here.  I think it's a glitch, or that i forgeted something up and got the amulet too soon.

I married Brelyna Maryon, the dunmer mage from College of Winterhold. Not only is she hot and has a lovey voice but she's actually useful in combat. She uses both fire bolts and a bow plus her Flame Atronach summon is most useful as a distraction. Then some fiddling to make her essential and ignore friendly fire. Perfect.

I feel like they sort of went back to a modernized Morrowind style when they designed the faces for the Dark Elves. I like it. Not lovey and promiscuous like in Oblivion, but instead more savage and... elf-like.

If you haven't already, go to Riften and go to the Temple of Mara or the inn and find some priest who will sell you the Amulet of Mara. Then wear the amulet and talk to Ysolda.

Have you learned about marriage from the guy in Riften? I couldn't marry anyone until I talked to him about marriage. Hes usually in the temple of Mara or at the inn. I found him in the inn giving some speech.

They're not hot, but I like the change. Before they just looked like humans with elf ears pretty much.
