I say eight as opposed to ten because who the hell wears rings on their thumbs?

If they did that you could enchant the rings and be so powerful that you could one hit elder dragons with a fork.

I would rather do it manually via Skyrimnexus.

I'd much rather have it be linked to steam so that my mods are always up to date. It will probably have good mod conflict detection too.
