I remember someone here posted a video of Werechair, where they switched the end of turning into a Werewolf to be a chair... Wasn't that cool, but shows it wouldn't be impossible to switch.
Oh dear, I have a dilema
I borrowed skyrim from a friend for a weekend and played about 1/3 of the way through the campaign on xbox 360.
I am planning on buying skyrim, but I don't know if I should buy it for xbox because I already have alot of progress or if I should go for the PC version so I can get updates and mods and use the console.
I don't have xbox live gold so I do not think I can download updates.
My computer is excellent, but the monitor is very old and square. I am getting a new one for christmas, but it is still going to be nothing compared to the resolution of my TV and my xbox. Then again, I can always hook up my PC to the TV.
It also seems that the xbox version is more highly rated than the PC version.
Which version should I get?
1: You should get it for PC. More possiblities.
2: Why the hell would they exclude you from updates for not having gold? They're game fixing. That's like saying "Oh, the original game crashes 30 seconds in? Buy a $60 internet card for an update!" Even Microsoft doesn't sink that low. You get updates as long as you can get onto Xbox Live in any way.
3: Walmart lists the Xbox version a bunch of cents higher than the other two, guess you explained why. I hear graphics are the worst on Xbox due to limitations, but then again I'm sure they're just fine for playing if you're more into the gameplay.
My PC can handle it at max settings no problem, my only concern is that I already have played through like twelve hours of the game on xbox and I kinda like the xbox controller, although I think I can figure out how to plug one in.
You can use Xbox 360 controllers with the PC if you have certain crap. Don't remember what, but it's easy I've heard.
Wait, forget xbox 360, apparently you can just move the save with a transfer cable and use a program to change the filetype

Well, the tutorial mentions 360 formatted flash drives, but that all seems like illegal modding talk. Xbox 360 has pretty strict no modding rules, not sure that's really permitted to be mentioned here, but whatever.
By the way, you don't need a program to change filetype. Microsoft keeps file extensions hidden by default to lessen the likelihood of someone breaking their own files, but I keep it on so I can simply edit it to what I want. What operating system are you on?
