recommend me some others? Trying to get the best benefits here.
Brelyna Maryon is a pretty sweet combat mage. She uses flame atronachs and a bow with the occasional firebolt.

I remember someone here posted a video of Werechair, where they switched the end of turning into a Werewolf to be a chair... Wasn't that cool, but shows it wouldn't be impossible to switch.

Oh dear, I have a dilema

I borrowed skyrim from a friend for a weekend and played about 1/3 of the way through the campaign on xbox 360.

I am planning on buying skyrim, but I don't know if I should buy it for xbox because I already have alot of progress or if I should go for the PC version so I can get updates and mods and use the console.

I don't have xbox live gold so I do not think I can download updates.
My computer is excellent, but the monitor is very old and square.  I am getting a new one for christmas, but it is still going to be nothing compared to the resolution of my TV and my xbox.  Then again, I can always hook up my PC to the TV.

It also seems that the xbox version is more highly rated than the PC version.

Which version should I get?

1: You should get it for PC. More possiblities.
2: Why the hell would they exclude you from updates for not having gold? They're game fixing. That's like saying "Oh, the original game crashes 30 seconds in? Buy a $60 internet card for an update!" Even Microsoft doesn't sink that low. You get updates as long as you can get onto Xbox Live in any way.
3: Walmart lists the Xbox version a bunch of cents higher than the other two, guess you explained why. I hear graphics are the worst on Xbox due to limitations, but then again I'm sure they're just fine for playing if you're more into the gameplay.

My PC can handle it at max settings no problem, my only concern is that I already have played through like twelve hours of the game on xbox and I kinda like the xbox controller, although I think I can figure out how to plug one in.

You can use Xbox 360 controllers with the PC if you have certain crap. Don't remember what, but it's easy I've heard.

Wait, forget xbox 360, apparently you can just move the save with a transfer cable and use a program to change the filetype

Well, the tutorial mentions 360 formatted flash drives, but that all seems like illegal modding talk. Xbox 360 has pretty strict no modding rules, not sure that's really permitted to be mentioned here, but whatever. By the way, you don't need a program to change filetype. Microsoft keeps file extensions hidden by default to lessen the likelihood of someone breaking their own files, but I keep it on so I can simply edit it to what I want. What operating system are you on?

It doesn't say you need a program to change the file name.

Nexus said that, not the tutorial, and he's wrong.

Where did I say the tutorial said that? I know he was the one saying it, and that he's wrong on that point... I'm confused.

Well you quoted the reddit link so I assumed you were referring to it.

I quoted his whole post. :panda:

And completely unrelated, do you think we should ever start trying to find some variation of your old Halloween avatar for next year? I liked it, and I haven't completely lost hope it's still somewhere out there on the net.

I think it's lost on the internet.

The only place I can think it would be is in some old Google webpage cache, but I don't know how regularly those are erased, and I don't even know if it's possible to access old pages.

And I already checked wayback machine.

What's annoying me is that there was a Blockbot screencap that had the avatar in it, so I could have just cut it out and re-trans'd it, but the website is no more. So, unless somebody on the forum saved it, it's gone forever.

I've just been searching some more, forgot Wayback tries to use old image links, so it wouldn't have it in any case. I thought using Google to get pages of specific dates would allow me to narrow it down, but nope. However, on the point in the above quote. I'm sure someone had it documented at least partially. I'll ask snow, as he's best with archiving Blockland ridiculousness.

Why is that a problem?

I killed the brotherhood, Also muiri doesnt own the shop shes apprentice

I've decided that both lycanthropy and vampirism are worthless compared to magic.
I am a mage. On a whim I can mend the gravest of wounds. I can wrest demons more vile than your wildest imaginings from the hell-plane of Oblivion, and banish them once more to their fell home. I can bend entire armies to my will, tell them to fight for me, or run from me for their lives. I can spring fire, ice or lightning from my very fingertips to dominate any who oppose me. I can bend the very fabric of space and time with naught but a flick of my wrist. I am a god amongst man and mer, and none shall conquer me! Glory to the mages! Huzzah! Huzzah!

I use to be a vampire, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

My god shut the forget up I am tired of that line appearing in every Skyrim video.
