That may be so, but Proudspire Manor is a hell of a house even with less containers than others. I have enough money now to buy and furnish basically any house to me available. Solitude is my first choice however, being a Thane of the city, a member of the Bard's College, and Imperial Praefect. Gotta keep my friends close.
I got all of that.

Then I killed everyone in Solitude.

Ha ha ha. Skyrim is still pretty expensive.

Pretty sure i'm getting skyrim tomorrow :D
It was on sale today though? :/

I am so happy with my first game. Ysolda is beautiful, I'm working my way up the social ladder, assuming I'll be getting a house in Solitude, and I plan on entering the Dark Brotherhood like a baus. :D

I actually thought Ysolda was a pretty one when I first met her. I brang a mammoth tusk to her, so now she says "It's always fine when your around." c:

The Solitude House's safe is supposed to be the only container safe from thief NPCs. But someone assured me that as long as I leave my Housecarl home, they'll protect my things. Until I can buy other houses, Lydia guards my bedroom containers with her life. Although what kind of scares me is sometimes I'll enter and she'll say "Are you lost?" or something... Makes me think there was a thief that she inquired to and didn't actually stop, but my chests are too cluttered to tell if anything was taken.

Guys, I sided with the Imperials and can't buy a house in Windhelm, and Blood on the ice won't trigger no matter how hard I try and console commands just makes it even more buggy. Anyone have any luck? Also, I'm not going to restart and side with the Stormcloaks.

I went on a rampage after getting fus ro dah and killed everyone in riverwood. Then went to whiterun and killed people as I charged to dragonsreach, before that I fought the companions.

I won.

You learn Dah after the Horn, right? I was going to get the horn, and as like many, I got sidetracked to hell with everything I found along the way.

Edit: I wish I could keep Habd's Remains while also getting the bonuses from it. I have this container in my house specifically for all the Skulls and Troll skulls I find, as well as Pelagius' Hip Bone, and the Remains would be an ideal addition.

I have Pantea's Flute and Rjorn's Drum in my inventory permanently as Quest Items, because the quest-givers wouldn't take them.

I found this Wall of Power I apparently was told of somehow, and an Elder Dragon has been kicking my ass since I got there. After a while of running away after running out of health stuff, I quickly stole the word and used up a Dragon Soul. (I got the soul before when a Giant and Dragon were fighting and I finished them both off.) I run under this rock archway in the land, and I suddenly see an "Imperial Courier" running toward me. The Dragon killed him before I knew wtf he was doing and where he came from. What's an Imperial Courier? A Courier that only gives you bad news involving Imperials?
