Guess what, Xbox users? No spoilers for a month. :cookieMonster:

or at least use the traditional >spoiler text in trans here< method we adopted when skyrim first came out

Im tempted to buy Skyrim for the xbox just for the dlc

my brother has the game for xbox, so it wouldn't be as ridiculous for me to do that, but I hate playing with a controller versus a keyboard for first person games.

Gonna roll a mage character this time around, I think.
And of course, I'll make him a vampire.

Dad: No pleading, begging, groveling for the Skyrim DLC?
Me: I feel as though I'm in kind of a bad position to grovel for anything at the moment.
Dad: Oh you're not in that much trouble... just keep up with the chores. We don't expect too much and we do appreciate it.

Texting conversation with my dad from a quarter to three this afternoon.
Tactical Dawnguard inbound

One ridiculously small thing I'd like to see, the absence of which bothers me so much.
I'd like the ability to go back to character customization from the naming prompt.
Maybe I have second thoughts about my character after having pressed X, and I want to go back and fix it.
forget.

that's one of the good things about the pc version, that sort of thing is very rarely available to consoles.
you should make a save right when you get off the wagon, I think the game might automagically do that.

It does a save right there.

How the hell do you chat?

It does a save right there.
Yes it does, but I don't want to start over if I change my mind about one small thing saying I'm done.

so sit at character creation screen for half an hour or so until you make up your freaking mind

Being a vampire lord is very cool, but like most things do, my fireballs still kill everything much quicker.

It is a life saver when it comes to mass mob encounters, Aoe Life drain for the luls.

Oh ya and fire hurts like a motherforgeter if you are in human form.

So now whenever a dragon comes my way I just split into vampire lord form and drain/talon/gargoyle them to death.

Now I need to get on my warrier and do some wolf exp grinding.

I'm not a good mage. I die in seconds.
Subterfuge and stealth suit me best; I think I'll stick to that.

I got super difficulty mod so I kinda die all the time lol

although it's mostly in caves & dungeons cause it's a restricted environment

I realized I'd built my mage all wrong.
I had the good sense to make him an Altmer; while he began with a large pool of Magicka, his magic resistance was terrible.
I made it to "Hitting the Books" when I realized that I was getting my ass handed to me by other mages. I'll roll a Breton this time.
