like, oblivion just seems a lot less convenient for me, as far as spellcasting goes
let's say you're fighting someone, and you want to use a bound armor spell or something
you gotta stop attacking, open the menu, switch spells, use the spell, then switch back in order to keep fighting
I guess you could use hotkeys, but I play on an Xbox, and already use left and right for my sword and bow, so up is for my offensive spell and down is for healing (and the diagonal hotkeys are way too awkward to use regularly, especially in combat)

but in skyrim, it's just a matter of opening the favorites menu, and switching one of your spells to the new one, without having to change your other hand's spell, so you can keep firing whatever spell that is
unless you're changing to a two-handed spell anyway

its even easier on the pc for both games. you just grab a modto hotkey or do a entire UI overhaul.
pc users dont even comprehend a game's native stuffty intuitiveness, we just know there is a fix before we even look for one.

Hot damn, guys.

Morrowind is so lovey with the Graphic overhaul. Why didn't I hear about this mod earlier?

Now all you need is a gameplay overhaul and you're good to go.

I never get this mod to work correctly. It always crashes for me.

I usually play as a Mage. I don't need to worry about the combat.

I have the best armor, did all the main quests and questlines, completed 100% all dlc, built all 3 houses, have all daedric artifacts, over 200,000+ gold, and I have the best armors. I have decently high levels on every skill, some being maxed out.

wat do now?

Mods. Lots of mods.

Nothing.
Make a new character or play another game.

Whenever I make a new character I can't make it past the first 20 minutes without getting bored and going back to my old character.

I have better than the best armors, I've done all main questlines including DLC, I have all the daedric artifacts, over 250,000 septims, and every skill is maxed out. I haven't built any more houses after the first one, though. it's way too tedious for me
so for now I'm gonna do a buncha sidequests. when those run out I'm gonna start a new character, probably focused on magic, and I'm going to try to always go in a different direction with the quests that have choices than I did the first time around

that is, until I get my gold subscription renewed. then I'm gonna go back to playing BF3 most likely

Then maybe you're just done with the game.
I know some people wont agree with this, but these games dont last forever. Sure, there may be hundreds of hours of content in the game, but when you're done with it, theres no where to go.

Sabbaticals are effective. Leaving a game for a few months or even a year or two makes it seem like new when you come back to it. At least, it does for me.

Muiri. She pays me to kill her old boyfriend and his mistress, and then suddenly we're married. That ten-point achievement (that I surprisingly haven't achieved yet after countless hours of play) is what I needed to get to a gamerscore of 10000 exactly. I can never play another game again.

Love that gal. <3

Alright. I found out I haven't beaten the Ebony Warrior yet. You have to be level 81 for him to find you, and I'm level 67. I'm going on one final crusade to level up and defeat the Ebony Warrior, then I'm finally going to stop playing this character.

Thats the only way I find morrowind to be fun

my only real problem with morrowinds original graphics is the actor models. BUt the main reason I can't play morrowind is combat issues, but being a mage is still fun, especially that levitation spell
