Good starter money is working in Gloombound Mine. One full run through the mine will net you 2880 gold when you talk to Dushnamub and sell your ebony ore. Respawns every 10 days.

Only mind the gas leaks, though. And you have to be Blood-Kin.

At least, I think you have to be Blood-Kin.
You don't have to be blood-kin to get in, they just keep yelling at you if you aren't. They don't arrest you or engage direct conversations, though.

I don't know what Blood-Kin is, but sounds like that place is located in Markarth which for me is the place i visit last.
Blood-Kin means you're a friend of the Stronghold Orcs. Basically you get the right to enter and roam about the strongholds. Speak to any Orc (say, Ghorza gra-Bagol, the Markarth blacksmith) and befriend them (say, by getting Ghorza gra-Bagol a copy of The Last Scabbard of Akrash) and then you can have them make you Blood-Kin.

You can also go to the strongholds themselves and they will give you a task to become Blood-kin

Or you could just play as an Orc. Orc PCs are automatically Blood-Kin.

I dont think ive ever made an Orc. Like, ever. In any TES game.

I think it's my favorite warrior race. Plenty of reasons to be proud to be an Orc.

I'm not sure why I havent played an Orc either.
Come to think of it, 95% of all my characters ever have been Dunmer. I think I made a Nord when Skyrim first came out, but thats about it.

I always make an Imperial. They seem to be a jack-of-all-trades character and they fit well in any play style.

I'm usually a Dark Elf or a Wood Elf, I like elves.

I'm always Bretons. They're pretty versatile, and I usually play a battlemage/spellsword anyway just because of habit. So that helps too.

I'll usually be a Redguard or Dark Elf

I usually like to be an Orc or a Nord.

My ideal warrior race is Orc, my ideal assassin race is Argonian (though I have been experimenting with Altmer assassins lately), and my ideal mage race is Breton.

I'm usually a Dark Elf or a Wood Elf, I like elves.

It would be lovely if someone could hint me some good mods that don't necessarily add more items or quests, but fixes and tweaks which make the experience far greater than it was before.
