more beta tests coming up this friday + sunday

If you think Arena or Daggerfall are the best TES games you should take of your nostalgia goggles.

Probably same for Morrowind too.

YES
I haven't played much of Morrowind yet, but Arena and Daggerfall play terribly

I realize.

"Imagine how heavy a Daedric Armor set be in real life if real life properties was added into it lol"

If real life properties were added to it, it'd be a dense wood.

Sure if you took the name Ebony and applied it to the letter. It's just called Ebony because of its color, not its material.

Got a beta invite :^)

When was the last time you played those games?
That wasn't the point. The point was "nostalgia". The majority of the people in this thread weren't even born when Arena or Daggerfall came out.

...and then what?

...and then what?
Almost no one feels nostalgia for those games

Definitely not the same for Morrowind. Yes, I definitely feel nostalgia over Morrowind from time to time, and sure the graphics are a bit dated, but once you install the graphic overhaul for it, it still holds up perfectly.

I don't think nostalgia is based on age. You can feel nostalgia of a game you played long after it was released.

But how many people here actually played Arena and Daggerfall before Morrowind, Oblivion or Skyrim?

I don't know. Do you?

I've played all of them at least once, some much more than others. It's not that I was alive when the early games came out, I enjoy the feel of older games, more so than newer ones. I feel nostalgia because it's like I'm feeling what people felt when the game was out, immersing myself in the mindset.
