Author Topic: Grand Theft Auto V :: Trailer RELEASED!  (Read 17268 times)

I'm wondering how odd it would be to play these types of games with a Wiimote, unless Nintendo adds in a normal controller at some point.
I might grab this for Wii U, but PS3 is more likely to be the winner for me.

Wii U doesn't use a Wiimote. It's a whole new console that abandoned motion controllers. It was a neat gimmick, but they probably noticed that their best selling games were the ones that didn't need motion or were third party ports.

Ironically, just as everyone else decided to release motion controllers lol.

Fun fact: The original release date of the song that plays in the trailer (Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake by British band Small Face) is May 24th, 1968, or 24 05.

Also, at the part on the golf course, the sign say "[Hole] 8, par 3". It's a bit of a stretch, but 8 * 3 = 24 and 8-3 = 05.

Edit: I failed at trying to enlarge just the V using the largest wallpaper and the ONLY V icon.

Help making a giant, ONLY V logo? :D

Huh, I thought the Wiimote was going to be the primary controller besides that new touch-screen pad.
Though now that I look at that controller again, I can see it.

It's not. The Wiimote is the only Wii controller that won't work with the WiiU.

Also false. The Wii U is backwards compatible with Wii games, thus meaning the Wiimote will work with the Wii U.

Will it work with Wii U games? Eh, probably not, but if the developer decides they want to try it, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

At 0:54 you can see a man putting a "For Sale sign out side his house.

If you pause the video at that exact moment, you'll see that just on the curb of the sidewalk there are four numbers 2405.

This is the date of Dan Housers birthday. (Dan Houser, founder of Rockstar and Rockstar North, Creator of GTA.

This Easter egg has been seen before on the last Mission of TBoGT. On the back of the plane that you blow up, the numbers are also seen there 2405.

Possible release date too???
