Author Topic: The cries of a beta male - PE/Sports class.  (Read 4474 times)

By the way, i'm talking about compulsory sport, where even after you choose what classes you'll be doing, you're still forced to do it.

God, i hate it.

We have two choices, the first one is proper rugby that only half of the class are able/strong enough to play, while there's Dodgeball where the balls are like rocks, and even simply spectating gets you hit in the face, since the seats are far too close.

My biggest problem with this class it's compulsory, why? being good at it might add to your grade, but most employers won't give a stuff about your sports grade unless if you're applying for anything sport related.
Before anybody assumes i'm a fat worthless guy, only half of the people in my class like or do Sports, the those who do are usually the ones who play in a team, or are buff enough to do it.

And being perfectly honest, PE classes should be set in  the gym so we can use excersise machines and go in our own pace, and people should be given the option of being of going in another class that plays competitive sports.

TL:DLR, why do we have PE classes whem they don't really benefit you unless if you want to tske it as a proffesion.
Discuss.

I totally agree with you on this. I have no intention of assuming a career that has to do with sports, so it should only be optional to play a sport in gym. Many other people probably would agree.

I never assumed Aphtonites to be the type that cries whenever he has to do anything physical.

I almost broke my knee in gym today.

Here we go again with stocking blowing out an insult out of his ass.
I'm talking about competitive sport PE, not all of it.

@xxjp
Pretty much, having excersise lessons is reasonble, but a lot of PE classes seem to be there to mock you.

Because Michele Obama wants us to be healthy

You need PE, if I were running the show there'd be compulsory PE for the entire time you were in school. You need to be healthy physically, growing up isn't just about cramming your head with a bunch of knowledge. Learning the benefits of a healthy, active life style will only do you good in life, and Dodgeball is fun as forget, stop crying.

I went to a school where it was compulsory for a year, but one of the options was bowls which takes like, no effort (albeit skill but who gives). Then I changed to an option that was walking, where you'd just stroll around the city in a group LOL. It was boring so I stopped attending until they made it not compulsory. Guess I'm lucky.

There's a walking class in my school where we also just stroll around the neighborhood. I quite enjoyed it

but seriously, you should keep fit regardless

Also I missd the part where he was crying

I actually like PE classes, and I'm not very athletic.

The only team i'd think of joining is track, and that's because you don't have to hold stuff but a baton.
