~~*~~STAY CALM, IT DOES HAVE AN ENGLISH VERSION~~*~~Elona is a freeware roguelike RPG game. Although development has stopped now, the game still has many features that can lead to hours of fun. Suggest me some stuff to add to the OP if you want, but beyond that you should look at the wiki for info. If I had to summarize, think Dwarf Fortress Adventure Mode but more complete and more awesome. You can raid dungeons, buy property (badass), escort people, trade cargo, get ambushed by bandits, customize your house and even turn it into a mine, become a criminal, so many possibilities!
Currently, I'm playing as a pianist making his living by entertaining the lower class at the starting town. The miners and citizens are okay with my music, but the guards bombard me with stones every single time I touch the piano. I've earned a swift ticket to hell several times due to wandering guards. The game must be trying to tell me something, over the course of a month there were 6 murders in the town I'm playing in.
Protip: do not put on cursed items, ever.
Protip2: If you become a performer, never ever, ever
EVER play near the shopkeeps or the guards until you reach level 30+. You WILL die that way.
