I know it's probably fake, I'm very paranoid though. He told me my name and my age.

Do you have a Facebook? He could just search your email on Facebook and get your name (and age possibly) if you do.

Edit: akjef09aufajsdl;kfjlzsf damn it Ethan you post fast

It's easy to find people's names and age via their username.
Ask him where you live or what's the name of your dad.

steam support is a different account compared to your steam account.

Zach, a VALVe employee, tells me that you need to send a file in to steam support with as much information as possible.

even if this is a troll attempt, he should NOT be sending around fake death threats. that's serious legal trouble right there.

Ask him where exactly you live

:P

[REDACTED]? Have you been reading the SCP Website?

See if he knows your IP. If he doesn't you're safe.

It's not hard to get someone's IP. You can get it simply by calling someone on Steam with voice chat and having them pick up.

Please have your friend contact Steam Support with as much information as they can provide about the incident.

all they can do with an ip is ddos you. you cannot track someone with an ip reliably at all. i tried my ip and it went to a location in san francisco in the middle of the street
