Doesn't matter if they're a pusillanimous individual - they're still hurt. Whoever is bullying them should just stop to make matters simpler.
so you want us to shelter our children from every form of aggression so they grow up knowing from a young age that if they kill themselves the people suspected of causing their mental unrest are punished severely, probably ruining their lives forever? pain is a part of live, grow up and deal with it. people who can't deal with the pain die, that's how nature works. you don't run fast enough and the lion eats your gutts.

It's funny how you seem to talk big but you probably couldn't outrun a lion, yet you use that term, as if it meant something in today's society.
1.People aren't exactly born with the ability to handle arguments on the internet like you.
2. Some people are actually normal and have feelings in more places than in front of a computer, I know you don't, but bare with me.
3. This sin't sheltering them from every form of agression, just trying to repel starfishs from hurting their child.

of course you can't outrun a lion, but you can try. these kids don't try, they shoot themselves. cyber bullying is when people the kid knows forgets with him online, the kids aren't getting beat up, they are getting bullied on the internet, usually as simple trolling. the children don't know how to handle it so they shoot themselves. in most cases they know that if they commit Self Delete the people who were trolling them would get severely punished. it's the same principal as when people say "imagine if i died tomorrow, then you'd be sorry you * insert verb*!" only these kids go as far as to actually kill themselves.

I SEE NO LOGICAL FLAW IN THIS.

I just realized something.

This whole forum is full of Cyber Bullys based on that movie we watched.

Im reporting you all to Obama.

That's not all true
Some people just do it because they're tired of being picked on, physicaly isn't the onlt form of bullying that can make someone mad.
I may have come on a bit too harsh but the point I'm making is that people aren't all born with tough skin depending on the backgrounds they came from.
The people who did the "trolling" should be punished because that kid wouldn't have even thought about killing himself, had it not been for the tools that think picking on people who are equal, then maybe they could actually be productive for once.
Of course things won't happen like this all the time, but I hate to see good people die because of what other people do to them.

hi guys my name is john smith, im 13, male, live in Los Angeles, and let people somehow molest me through my computer screen.

You all seem to forget that the average 13 year old being bullied would much rather get into pointless arguments than do something sensible like.. I do not know block the person from communicating with you? That being said these videos against 'cyberbullying' would probably be better if they taught avoidance since that would be more easily done.

The kids who shoot themselves get bullied really hard, it's not some little thing like being called a friend. It's like being hurt repeatedly for a long period of time. And it wouldnt just be online, stress from other things or bullying from kids in real life could cause them to Self Delete.

In which case the best option would be to get help from your school. Although some schools have done notoriously little about any type of bullying (One such school had three Self Deletes within two years). If I were in such a spot where my school did absolutely nothing I would contact my god damn senator. Although I can not say I expect everything to reach the conclusion that if a certain part of the government does not work like it's supposed to you, you should go above their heads.

I think that they're too scared to get help too because they think they'll get bullied more afterwards

That's usually the case.

That would be illogical. If anything continued bullying would just result in more repercussions for the bully.

>Implying all people are bullied the same
>Implying all victims think the same

Some Self Deletes are thought out, some are on impulse.

But anyways, I doubt they think an administrator could help them much, or think they don't need it, until they end up feeling too depressed to live anymore. I can't see a reason why anyone would want to let people who are hurting die, though.

It's not like the bully sends one message and leaves.
