Author Topic: [GUIDE] How to use Torque Constructor to make interiors  (Read 6472 times)

Step 1: Make somthing using TC.
Step 2: DO NOT SAVE. Press file and click export as DIF.
Step 3: Put it into a file that has nothing to do with torque or blockland.
Step 4: Go to (BlocklandFolder)\base\data\interiors
Step 5: Create a normal folder. (recomended that you use your name)
Step 6: Paste the files.

Just for people that don't know how.

Wrong, unless it had been fixed the built in exporter does not work.
It was. Ages ago. time edit :D

So how do i make it work?

I make something, export it as a .dif, or use the link tails posted and export it as a .map then use the map2dif thing, then put the .dif into Blockland\base\data\interiors?

actually they released a new version of constructor that works when you export as legacy dif

Login to your GG and then go to your account and in your "purchases" or whatever it is, click on constructor, there's a link.

No, it works like I said...

Btw, just go to file > Export as DIF. It will include all the textures.

ok, now I have a question. How do I apply and/or position textures on an object in torque constructor? I can't even seem to be able to selece objects. :(

Is this free, and can i have a link?

Does anyone else here notice the BIG bump he did?

He was at least asking a relevant question to the subject rather then making a new thread.

This post is very helpful!
