The Asus A8N-VM CSM is really bad for it. They say it supports Vista, but for that to work, you must flash your BIOS, which is more than a problem with that particular board. It will go successfully but when the machine is restarted, the original BIOS version is back in control.
I'd rather have McAfee than Norton.
Lesser of 2 evils.

I think McAfee is the better of them, but it hogs CPU.

Norton will hog up your CPU unless you are using NASA's computer.

It didn't take up too much space, then again this is back in the age of the insperon 2200

Its what I use, you must have SP3 and just follow all the instructions.

The only drawback,if you screw up installing the shell or the start up animation it wont even start up.
So yea its risky but if your good with computer go with it.

To do this you need to hack some of the system files to get it looking as good as it looks on there though, I'm installing the custom boot screen soon.

I have windows XP, and it's kind of boring right now. Here's a pic of it currently. Ignore the Roblox, I don't play much but I keep it there for old time's sake. I also haven't gotten around to uninstalling LEGO Digital Designer.
