It has been argued over serveral forums with this article. It appears to be a peice of information mistranslated causing the PC Gameing Apes to do literally what hte title of the game name.

Id may have been the beginning of FPS and 3d games, but that doesnt mean they have a very creative mind.

i dunno, on facepunch all the screenshots done by users all have horribly low-res textures on world objects, like half-life 2 on low settings.
