To me that's just their cop out. What is tradition any more? I mean, the divorce rate is 50% in this country. That means every one in two marriages are destined to end. That means things like single mothers and fathers, step parents, multiple houses, etc. Marriage is no longer and never will again be what it once was. The nuclear family is a thing of the past, and as it turns out we didn't need it in the first place. I know a lot of kids who grew up in single parent households, and they turned out just fine.

He's right, you know. How would gay marriage even threaten traditional marriage? Do they advertise it? "Straight from the Closet to the Altar! Gay's the Way!". Are people afraid that, in all the 'confusion' of men marrying men and women marrying women, that they may forget they're heteroloveual and marry someone of the same gender? :u

it might not, but the church has had "Gay marriage is wrong and should be avoided' put into its head somewhere along the way
what i dont get is when a girl and a boy are in love its fine, but when love is different its a sin.  if there really is a God, and we are all created to be images of him, then doesnt that mean that God is gay or bi? If he made gay people in his own image that means that some of that is in him.
