Author Topic: Spike Pole  (Read 1038 times)

Well, I often use the pole bricks to make classic cast iron fences, but, those fences always end in a spiked tip. There is, to the best of my knowledge, no spiked brick that fits the parameters of the pole bricks to complete the fence.

I'm sure there are other uses as well.

Most people just have a pole with a 1x1x1 cone on it...

that might work for 1x1 rounds, but pole bricks are thinner

That spike fits a pole brick, not a 1x1 round.

That spike brick fits a 1x1 space. It doesn't fit the pole at all. The edges overhang, that's like saying all bricks fit on a pole brick because it can be planted there.

Oh? I could have sworn that I've used that ontop of pole bricks before... Oh well... It still works, does it not?

Not to mention that spike brick has a stuffty collision box.

Yeah I found that to be very annoying.

I would download that, could be handy :cookieMonster: :cookieMonster: :cookieMonster:

That "stuffty" collision box is there so it looks like you get stuck in the spike when on them. It would be stupid if the whole thing was colliding, you would slide right off them and be even more glitchy. Think of the top of the default tree..

Agreed, in TDMs people always glitch to the top of places.

Just to make sure I wasn't wrong I just checked spike bricks with pole bricks. It does't fit, But I also noticed that the spike brick apparently doesn't have a bottom..

You can't use a pine tree to get into higher places, you can't jump off when on the tip of the tree.
