"I'll go" I said as I headed for the door.
I tried to open it, but it wouldn't budge.
"Bee, mind opening this for me? It doesn't want to agree with me..."

Juan Cabrillo has been living off oxygen and nitrogen tanks he opened to make a stable atmosphere in the atmospherics room, which he welded the second airlock shut so that he could see before anyone entered.

He's been living off the vending machine food that he's scrapped from nearby rooms and has lived in solitude.

His make shift spaceship lies on the rack he made for it by his bed.

Eventually he knew that he must contact that person he saw in the engine room.

"I'll go" I said as I headed for the door.
I tried to open it, but it wouldn't budge.
"Bee, mind opening this for me? It doesn't want to agree with me..."
"Okay"
With both bee, and max pulling at the door it finally opened.

"Helloooooo? Are you in there?"

Samyra is on her bed, in the fetal position. Her left arm seems to be infected with the mutant skin, and it is very frail. She looks up, a scared and lost look in her eyes.

"Samyra.......What happened to you?"

"What the bloody hell?" I mumbled as I walked up to her.
"You okay?"

"Don't touch her, it could be contagious."

"We don't want to catch it..."

Samyra coughs, and a yellow liquid is sent out of her mouth with the cough. "Plea-please.. hel-help.."

"That's nasty... What are we supposed to do to help... I think she might be turning into a mutant..."

"Okay, lets put on some protective gear, i really don't want this"

"You're not even human! I should be the one worrying here, I'm a foot from her bed!"
