I think that is a problem that lies with you and you only. Hey, I've posted some pretty egotistical things on the forums, sure. But claiming I've ever done anything to imply higher social status, especially on a personal level towards you, is absolute nonsense and I simply can't believe it when you are standing here telling me I denied owning a Steam account years after I opened it and added a handful of Blockland players to it. You are posting utter baloney at this point.
After I came back, it was either late last year or early this year. I was in a server, I think it was yours. We were playing some kind of Knife DM with kind of squares to jump on.
I asked you if you had a Steam or MSN I could add you on, because I wanted to keep in contact with you. You said you didn't.
The last post I ever saw from you before you returned was some comment about your disapproval of me when I was banned in 2008. What can I say, that doesn't exactly scream 'lets be friends'.
http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=51659.0Doesn't exactly seem like I was insulting you like you remember.
Re: email.
I've seen the amount of times Blockland users leak emails, abuse them, or send research to them. Nobody in this game will ever get to a personal level with me where they have access, be it send only, to email accounts I use for things far more important than light chat. I don't have the time or dedication to maintain an email just for casual discussion, hence the countless times I post "please PM me on Youtube or the Blockland forums" so I can guarantee I can respond.
We were great friends. We were both co-owners of a relatively successful clan.
I'm sorry but sending me an IRC once after a good few years of absence is no effort on your part, you can't just disappear without notice and expect people to flock back to you.
That's the thing. I could only contact you through IRC because there was no other form of communication. I didn't just disappear, I took a break from the game, and when you rely on that as your main form of communication, it's not very effective. (Note that I couldn't just log on and PM you on here, I can't PM)
When I came back and asked for your Steam etc to keep in contact, it was to avoid the same situation, because I actually enjoyed being friends with you.
I never expected anyone to flock back to me, but it's a bit disappointing to come back from an unavoidable hiatus after a few years to IcyGamma's server, to get a, "oh hi Ethan I'm going to leave now goodbye". We were in the server together for no more than 3 minutes. You acted elitist, like you'd gotten really famous over my break (which you had) and now were too 'posh' to be seen talking to me.
Also to find out that you leaked the RainbowPlayer script I made which I asked you not to give to anyone.
