I just got virtual dub and I recorded a youtube video for a popular server I host so... How am I gonna compress this with virtual dub so that it won't take that much time to upload on youtube?

don't be impatient and just upload it while your sleeping or something.

You could cut the resolution in half, but that would make the video quality crap.

Import it to Windows Movie Maker then save it.

Fraps records raw footage. There is no compression, even at half-size at around 30 FPS it still takes up gigabytes.

720p fraps at 30fps is like 800mb per minute.

I do 1440x900 or 720p at 60 FPS. Takes a lot, but its why I have a 600GB for FRAPS.

compressing fraps avi's is pretty much the only time i ever open up windows movie maker lol
