I guess this is more of a dream instead of an idea because I'm not sure if it could be done/someone would want to do it.

So, I've always liked the bow, but I thought it needed more features. Don't tell me about the Huntsman and stuff like that, because that's not what I want.
First, it would be cool if there was an ammo system on the bow, and the ability to re-pick up the arrows that you've already shot. Plus, hold-to-charge technology and manual reloading. (right-clicking to put in another arrow?) I know I'm asking for too much, but if it were possible to make it so you are only able to use this weapon if you have the quiver avatar thingy on your back.

An old add-on, the Recurved Bow, could be ported in with an edited script to do everything you just asked. I'm pretty sure weapons can detect (un)hidden nodes, so that's quite possible aswell.

The quiver part is impossible, but if you could rig the projectile to drop the ammo on hit...

Recurved Bow is on RTB, I think. So that helps. :D

Um, no. You can check the avatar's items quite easily.

The recurve bow has an explosion radius bigger than the rocket launcher. My edited version fixes this but I think I've lost it.

I think the recurve is quite all right, but I don't like the radius of the fire arrows.

Anyway, I don't know if the mounting the quiver is possible or not, but I would assume it functions the same way as the avatar selection in Deathmatch, but with a preset avatar. (Just change the quiver)
