Author Topic: Why do people even like recent lego games? They are all recycled!  (Read 5441 times)

LEGO should make a sandbox game where you actually build.

They are starting to take the BUILDING out of LEGO

Agreed

Why are you guys fighting lord tony?

He's impossible to fight. Let him fight himself.

It's funny because they look exactly the same and have almost no new items. The only changes are the story & location.

Which is exactly like the Lego Starwars knock-off games.
Lord Tony ignores the things that prove him wrong.

I have yet to see someone explain how they are different besides MINOR detail changes.

Because the story is a minor detail.

Same exact thing applies for Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Every lego game has new items and a new story but the same engine. Every bethesda game has new items and a new story but the same engine. Problem?

The lego starwars games have about a five minute story. Cutscene, level playthrough, cutscene, level playthrough.

Can you even call it a story? It loosely bases off the movie's story and there is no words or voices. If you haven't seen the movie before then you can't even make out the game's plot.

Because the story is a minor detail.

Well that minor detail you call a story still doesn't make the games different from each other.

I get it. You've said that 1500 times. Now what makes Fallout 3 & New Vegas different from Lego Starwars.

Yes it does you are clinically handicapped.

it's funny because they're plastic

HINT:

THE TARGET AUDIENCE

I get it. You've said that 1500 times. Now what makes Fallout 3 & New Vegas different from Lego Starwars.

The gameplay has been revamped. New Vegas includes iron sights, factions, enhanced stealth combat, ammo types, companion wheel, a wider range of voice acting (you will never hear the same voice twice in a row), over 200 new weapons/items, the ability to craft armor or goods, hardcore mode, a huge new environment that could take over 200+ hours to explore, etc.

Fallout 3 story: Fallout 3 starts in Vault 101, which you are taken to as a child by your father, after your mother is killed at your birth. When you reach 18 years of age, your father escapes the vault and you need to follow in his footsteps to try and find him.

Fallout New Vegas story: In Fallout: NV, you play as a courier who was intercepted and shot in the head by thugs. After a doctor patches you up, you journey around the Mojave wasteland to find the person who shot you. Once you meet him, the story spirals off into 4 alternative endings.

As for the lego games you have about less than 10 hours of gameplay, about a 5 minute story that is loosely based off the movie, slightly more characters that look the same as the last ones and have same animations.

Am I leaving anything out?

pfft

this proves lord tony can start a stufffight without even knowing what hes talking about

fallout 3, fallout new vegas

same core gameeplay, new vegas has more additions

if you maybe noticed, lego indiana jones added an inventory system
batman added the suits
harry potter added splitscreen, different types of magic, etc.

shut up and stop whining
oh wait, you do that for a living.
