Author Topic: Why do people even like recent lego games? They are all recycled!  (Read 5421 times)

Well you forgot the story, the characters, the music, the everything.
They're still different in a way, no matter how much it gets sand in your vagina.

I said there was about a 5 minute story, I said new characters that were re-skinned. I didn't mention music but hey when does two new music tracks make a difference?

I still can't believe you act like these games are not the same and they are completely different.

pfft

this proves lord tony can start a stufffight without even knowing what hes talking about

fallout 3, fallout new vegas

same core gameeplay, new vegas has more additions

l4d, l4d2

same core gameplay, l4d2 added more elements to the gameplay

if you maybe noticed, lego indiana jones added an inventory system
batman added the suits
harry potter added splitscreen, different types of magic, etc.

shut up and stop whining
oh wait, you do that for a living.

hey look, tony just ignored this.

Because I didn't loving see it.

They are adding minor stuff that doesn't make a difference as they go. It's not like they are re-inventing the wheel here.

I was writing some big thing but whatever.

The only actual changes are ammo types and iron sights. The rest are just features from Fallout 3. Lego Indiana Jones had a level editor, Lego Starwars had a charecter editor, but they both had the same gameplay and these features are only to improve on the game for the next Lego Starwars game.

The point is that both games are just edits of the last game, it's ironic.

5 new replies. Tikitai said pretty much the same thing as me.

hey tony, these two squares are exactly the same.

Okay then, Oblivion and Fallout 3.

Same engine, same look. The end result still is something completely different. There is no minor additions, it's an entirely different game.

Ok, all those Lego games are on the same engine.
They're still all different from each other.

They're still all different from eachother.
point proven

everyone but tony agrees

no one cares about his opinion

abandon topic now.

Brb, gonna go kick ass at Lego Star Wars

They aren't, minor additions do not make it an entirely new game.

That's like saying each CoD game is not the same game because of a few re-skins, new maps and new weapons.

HUR THIS LEGO GAME HAS CHARACTER CREATUR ITS 100% DIFFERENT!!!!1!! HAO DO U EVEN SAY ITS THE SAME GAME??! They could of added a character creator in the previous games too but they didn't think of it until now.

Each game they put little thought into and they add a few minor additions to it. When they think of a new minor addition they implement it into the next game. They are just adding onto the previous game! They could just spend an entire year coming up with a new concept but instead they use that time to recycle the previous game.

God its really annoying how people post that image every time someone disagrees with them

I think they do it when they've run out of a counter point.
