Need a good PC microphone

I have 55 dollars from selling my stuffty Flip Ultra HD, as my iPod replaced it. So, I need a good STANDALONE microphone. Not a headset. It needs to be USB or 3.5 (3?) MM. And it can't be a webcam. Already have one of those.

Well... any suggestions?

Currently these are the suggestions:

Logitech USB mic


It needs to pick up voice well as I will be using it for Let's Plays.

It also needs a decent sized cord as my PC tower is in a bit of a strange place. If not then you need to link to an extender cord.

Edit: I searched "old standalone microphone" and everything I got looked ten years younger than the one we have xD

You're better off getting a headset, regardless; standalone microphones are relatively old and not produced as much as headsets.

Here is an 8 dollar one I was looking at...



...but it had stuff reviews and it looked cheap so no.

the one we have is set on a little square box thing though

I have a 99 cent one from china, got it off ebay. works great for skype, and anything else that doesn't require more than decent sound quality.

here it is, $2 but it doesn't bend like in the picture, nor would I recommend doing that to it.

It needs to pick up voice well, and it needs to have a decent sized cord as my tower is in a weird position. Sorry but it won't work.

how far away is your tower from your head? this microphone was next to my ass once and picked my voice up just fine.
