i doubt they can, the next three games (or at least Halo 4) seem to have technological and mechanical style

What do you mean by that?

Aren't all of the Prophet guys dead?

Regret - killed by Master Cheif (Halo 2)
Mercy - killed by the Flood (Halo 2)
Truth - killed by the Arbiter (Halo 3)

I hate it when people say the only like the first Halo just to seem "cool" and "old".

I love all the Halo games equally.

except for halo wars.

I got through the 2nd level on Wars and decided it was horrible. Then again, it was mainly a spin-off save the storyline and a few vehicles. Ensemble Studios gave the series its first negative game.

i think thats why MS got rid of ensemble studios after they finished halo wars, but despite everything, wars is a fun game, it relaxes me when i have nothing to do

I like all the Halo games I've had the fortune of playing (Halo PC, CE, Halo 2 Vista). Though honestly I think Reach was just made for profit, it follows literally nothing from the books.

according to O'Connor and Bungie, the novels are an alternative storyline, whatever, didnt you just say that the only halo games you have played are 1 and 2?

To me, the books hold the storyline together better than the games. They provide good, well, stories but for some reason, the content would be hard to make into a game or a decent movie.

Yes, and Custom Edition but that isn't really a standalone Halo game.
