I have an ASUS (RoG) Gaming laptop with 12GB RAM, 575GB Harddrive space and 6 dual proccessors. That's a decent comp yes?

Waste of money.
They are the exact same CPU, except AMD has it factory clocked higher.
Just buy the cheaper BE one and overclock it yourself. You could even get it higher, to say that of a 980, 3.7GHz.

It actually has a higher bin, which lets it overclock at a higher base and get possible higher clocks.

ALSO, is it worth it to wait until Black Friday for a computer? I really want to order my parts, but my dad says to wait.

Not really so much as Black Friday, more of Cyber Monday.

Both will have great sales but Cyber Monday isn't called Cyber Monday for no reason.

It'd be a good idea to wait.  Stay up til midnight the night of so you can get the deals ASAFP.

School's not off on Cyber Monday, neither is work D:.

Also, how much would a 6870 be off? I could get one for $150 with rebate. Should Iget it now or wait?

Make a deal with your parents.  Wake up early on Sunday, take a nap after dinner to make up for lost sleep time.  Wake up around 11 PM, buy stuff at the strike of 12 AM, go to bed around 12:30 AM or earlier once done.  Or get your parents to place the order at the time (but don't change it).

That's what I'm doing.  I'm going to take a nap during the day to make up for time.

There's no real way to definitely tell how much it will be on sale for.  It can be anywhere from like 1% cheaper or higher.  No one can tell for sure.

Either way it will be cheaper.

Yeah the $600 MOBO has REALLY bad reviews, and way to find a different one?
I don't trust it with the reviews.

OK Ive decided what CPU to get. But I still need a recommendation on a Liquid Cooling kit

do you plan on overclocking?

do you plan on overclocking?
No but in the event I need to, I just want to be ready.

You do not need an expensive Liquid cooling kit if you do not majorly plan on overclocking. Get a Hyper 212+ and you're set for any type of overclocking, if you plan to go even further, than you can think of liquid cooling.

I believe I have sharpened my parts decision knowledge. I finally was able to configure a rig, under $1000, black and red color scheme (except GPU but it's only slight.) What do you think Ethan?

I will wait for the price of the hard drives to go back down to $60 because they're so damn expensive right now. I might also upgrade to Crossfire with the same GPU in the future but for now, this is really good for me :)

Like I said in your other thread, those specs aren't right.
Start > Run > dxdiag
Post the entire contents of the first tab and display tab.

Suit yourself, but it's the best quality for the price range.
ASRock is a division of ASUS, who makes some of the best motherboards.
Also, think about it this way. Not everyone who buys one and is happy with it makes a review. Almost everyone who buys one and has a problem with it makes a bad review.
So therefore that's why the reviews seem bad.

No need for a Liquid Cooling system, even for overclocking.
I have an old Phenom first gen system lying around. The CPU is stock 3 core 2.3GHz. I have unlocked the 4th core which wasn't faulty, and I have overclocked it to 3GHz, so now it is a 4 core 3GHz. It still only reaches 40C on max load benchmarking with just the stock stuffty cooler thing.
I have gotten it to 3.4GHz stable but don't want to go too high for regular use.

Looking at it now.
