I have an ASUS (RoG) Gaming laptop with 12GB RAM, 575GB Harddrive space and 6 dual proccessors. That's a decent comp yes?
Like I said in your other thread, those specs aren't right.
Start > Run > dxdiag
Post the entire contents of the first tab and display tab.
Yeah the $600 MOBO has REALLY bad reviews, and way to find a different one?
I don't trust it with the reviews.
Suit yourself, but it's the best quality for the price range.
ASRock is a division of ASUS, who makes some of the best motherboards.
Also, think about it this way. Not everyone who buys one and is happy with it makes a review. Almost everyone who buys one and has a problem with it makes a bad review.
So therefore that's why the reviews seem bad.
OK Ive decided what CPU to get. But I still need a recommendation on a Liquid Cooling kit
No need for a Liquid Cooling system, even for overclocking.
I have an old Phenom first gen system lying around. The CPU is stock 3 core 2.3GHz. I have unlocked the 4th core which wasn't faulty, and I have overclocked it to 3GHz, so now it is a 4 core 3GHz. It still only reaches 40C on max load benchmarking with just the stock stuffty cooler thing.
I have gotten it to 3.4GHz stable but don't want to go too high for regular use.
I believe I have sharpened my parts decision knowledge. I finally was able to configure a rig, under $1000, black and red color scheme (except GPU but it's only slight.) What do you think Ethan?

I will wait for the price of the hard drives to go back down to $60 because they're so damn expensive right now. I might also upgrade to Crossfire with the same GPU in the future but for now, this is really good for me :)
Looking at it now.
