I believe I have sharpened my parts decision knowledge. I finally was able to configure a rig, under $1000, black and red color scheme (except GPU but it's only slight.) What do you think Ethan?

I will wait for the price of the hard drives to go back down to $60 because they're so damn expensive right now. I might also upgrade to Crossfire with the same GPU in the future but for now, this is really good for me :)
First things first. That motherboard is a Socket 1156, the CPU requires Socket 1155. The Motherboard is also Foxconn, which aren't the best quality.

Second thing, the PSU is overpowered for the system, but like you said, if you want to CF the cards in the future, it would be ready.

Third, I'll try find you a good colored GPU :D
What size monitor(s) are you running (what resolution)?

??
What about it?

Ethan, are the suggestions on op for gaming builds?

If not, can you build me one if I give you general standards for parts or something?

By that i mean like a tb of memory, and stuff like that

I intend on using... probably a 23"-24" 1080p HDMI LCD monitor. Also thanks for the motherboard notice, I would have never seen that. Also do you know if the motherboard has a red light?

I hope you mean 1TB of hard drive space, because 1TB of memory (RAM) is impossible. Max is 64GB.

If it doesn't, just buy some cathode tubing for your case.
I'll suggest you a GPU soon.

Thanks :) But please select a GPU that is of equal capability or higher.

Yeah. I was thinking of getting the Asus HD6950 2GB, but since you only run 1080p, no point getting 2gb VRAM.
Unless you really like the color scheme :D

That card is huge, it will probably just fit in the space provided. idk, it isn't much more expensive and it  provides a ton of power. What is your best bet if you had to choose.

I've been thinking about buying Skyrim, but cyri.sysrequirements says I need a video card ATI Radeon HD 4890 or higher, and I have an ATI Radeon HD 5450. What do they mean with higher? :o

Well, a HD4890 or better.
A HD5450 is nowhere near as good as a HD4890, sorry.

..Oh. But why? How do I know which ones better than the other? I've been told to look at the series and such, but I guess that's not how it works :o

Also, i'm thinking of buying this card. Is it any good?

I'm looking for a way to backup a 64GB SSD (1 partition full size NTFS) and a 2TB (1 partition full size NTFS) hard drive onto an external 1TB hard drive.

Does the windows 7 do the job in terms of a full data restore of a partition or in my case two hard drives (2 partitions).

I'm not even sure it's possible. Please tell me.

Thanks.

Could somebody help find a good pre-built desktop computer that matches the following "requirements" for me?:
  • Price around the $500 area, can possibly peak to $600 but should be around $500.
  • No special GPU, should only run on integrated.
  • Pretty good networking card, average CPU, average HDD.
  • Low power usage.

If it's delivered from Europe, it would be even better due to decreased shipping costs.
Will be running 24/7 without a monitor, keyboard or mouse.
