rofl it was black friday sales what the hellalso just so you know the $1000 was everything not just the processors and stuff

Monitors and everything = ~$200

COuld get way better still.

Your build would go about $700 with monitors and everything.

i don't understand, there was something $300 cheaper that would have made it better?
sorry i don't really do computers, my brother is the one who bought the parts / assembled it

Can someone give me a full set of components I'd need, including a monitor, for a new computer for <$550 please?

new compooter, is this good/decent?
got the whole thing for ~$1000
-snip-
tell me if it's decent or if you need more info to tell
also since it doesn't seem to say anywhere, monitor is acer 21" 1080p and case is "Thor"
Oh, that's not very good man.

Should've asked here, man. Your brother doesn't seem very knowledgeable. Sorry again.

Dude, what was wrong with the list I posted for you? It had a 6790 which is better than those cards you posted and for the most part cheaper, and the total WITH monitor was $550 like you asked, less than your current total.

Ethan! Would this laptop be ok for general use, Blockland, and Minecraft(does not have to run it like a boss).

The memory you selected is incompatible with the other memory in the system, matthew, plus, you don't even really NEED to upgrade the RAM. 4GB is enough. And either way, there are only 2 RAM slots, you'd have the same 4GB anyways.
And it would play both those games very nicely.

Also, this laptop computer is better if you add a bit more for shipping.

Your problem is that they're skullcandy earbuds.
My panasonic ones lasted 2 years before a loving dog (it was teething at the time) got to them, and ripped the left earbud out of its socket. They were $10, but I guess that's my punishment. I scarcely used them myself, but my brother used them a lot longer than me.
Well darn. Whats some good cheap ones then?

First see if your earbuds came with a lifetime warranty, typically they only have a 90-day or 30-day warranty.
If not, I've read that Klipsch is the way to go for good earbuds, but they're in the $50+ range. Your best bet is to go with a brand like Panasonic, Sony, or Phillips.
