My earbuds are forgeted over. One earbud is making less noise than the other, and it just irritates me.

I don't think you can fix that permanantly, believe me, I've tried.

I have some mullah lying around, and I want to upgrade stuff (I recently noticed that running GTAIV at max settings makes it a little choppy...)

Current stats:
Intel i7 CPU, 930 @ 2.8GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
9216MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 (approx. total memory ~4067)

I suspect the geforce may be the weak link, but I'm not super hardware-savvy. Would someone tell me what I should upgrade - and what I should upgrade to? I'm planning to try and spend about $250 tops, but I'm gonna be keeping this computer for a while, so if the upgrade would cost more, I'd consider it.

Thanks, that was my suspicion. Is there an nvidia equivalent to that? I've heard that nvidia tends to work better with Intel chip sets.

I'll check the wattage of the PSU and report back - I'll need to pop open the case.

The Nvidia equivalent is cheaper but also doesn't work as well.
