When you have a new custom built compooter, how the hell do you install a new OS on the Hard drive? Do you just put the disk in and follow the instructions? or is there another process.
Disk in.
Go into BIOS, make sure DVD drive is set before HDD in boot order.
Reboot.
Press any key to boot from disk when the appropriate screen is shown.
Follow instructions. It might pay to format the drive anyway just in case as some new HDDs are a bit funky off the shelf. This can be done on the installer though.

You just put the disk in

This is not upgrade the laptop it self. It's just providing a larger screen. It is not going to allow you to play BF3 or Minecraft any better.
I have the ports, to plug the COMPUTER, into the LAPTOP, giving it all the specs the case has inside it, but if I need a new moniter I can easily get one.

..that's not how it works

The other socket was destroyed by my dads dog drooling inside my computer.
...I never hope to hear/see this sentence again.

By any chance do you have a hot-swappable dock laptop?

Wait what. Steves motherboards other SATA Socket thingy was destroyed by his dads DOG drooling in the computer? Why the hell was it on the floor in the first place.

I just noticed something.
A lot of the items on newegg.ca are sometimes cheaper than on newegg.com, example, on newegg.ca, and on newegg.com, there is a $20 dollar difference on the item.
Not much difference in shipping (unless you live in HST-forsaken Ontario.)

Why do my headphones, depending on whichever earbud I place in my ears, seem a bit off-center?
