If it won't give power, it was obviously damaged by shipping.

Yeah, nothing else in the package was though, and everything was literally covered in bubble wrap.
Maybe it was damaged during packaging? Meh.

Trying to see if NCIX will send me a pre-paid package to RMA it with. Hopefully they will.

Wait a goddamn minute, this is the BRONZE version of what I ordered...
...hopefully they'll replace it with the same one :cookieMonster:

Hi, I have a bit of a question for you Ethan. I don't know if this is really valid for the thread.

How should I wipe my hard drive?

I really have no clue how it should be done.

Well if you want it to stop working permanently, use a magnet :cookieMonster:

No seriously, but if you want to wipe your hard drive, you'll need a copy of an Operating System.  If you're wiping the hard drive with your OS on it, you'll need to reinstall that OS again.

Due tell me, Is this good?

Really looking forward to getting it

You mean system requirements?
Enough space in your case, adequate PSU, no CPU bottleneck, latest OS?

My cousin says his brother got a computer for around $1,000 that's better than his alienware.

I'll ask what it's called.
Alienwares are stuff.
Also, what alienware? lol.

i am happy i can run any game i want. FEELS GOOD MAN

So, this morning I boot up my PC which I just rebuilt a couple days ago and nothing was being displayed on my monitor. I figured "Must of gotten unplugged" so I look in the back and it's perfectly fine. I thought perhaps it was my GPU but I realized that my computer doesn't beep after I turn it on, I also noticed that my keyboard nor mouse doesn't light up but my front panel USB ports work just fine.

My CPU fan is spinning and my GPU fan works. PSU lights up and my CD drives spin up too. I started pulling RAM out and testing every one because I noticed before that if it's a bad overclock of the RAM it wouldn't respond like this. I reset my CMOS and still nothing. There's also a 1/4 chance my GPU will spin up at full fan power. I checked every plug and it's snug. 24 pin is plugged, my CPU pins, everything works. I think it's my motherboard because of it not beeping. I don't have onboard video and I knew I would regret that.
I don't know what to do. I believe my mobo is defective because last night I shut it down properly before bed and suddenly this happens today. I'm having Skyrim withdrawl too. I just started playing it the other day. :c

I have a cooler master 500w PSU. It's not 80+ silver or whatever thought. How good is it?

The single short beep you hear when you turn on your computer is your motherboard's POST code.  A single short beep means everything booted with success.  The fact that you're not getting ANY POST signals is concerning, I would say maybe the motherboard.

My old motherboard at least gave me a long continuous beep that told me that it has been destroyed. :c
But what about my GPU? Sometimes when I boot it my GPU would spin at full power. It never used to do that.
Well I bought it through Newegg, how would I go about returning it or having them replace it? Do I contact Newegg or ASRock?

Also, my GPU doesn't display anything (not that I really expected it to) in the x4 PCI-E port either. It doesn't POST when I unplug my GPU either.
Not even an error code when I took out all my RAM.

Post link to exact product.

Did you remove all devices making sure it's not an issue with anything else?

POST codes vary by motherboard.  That long continuous beep could mean anything.  You can try looking it up by googling "(model) no post code" or checking the motherboard manual if you still have it.

If you can, see if you can get a replacement with Newegg.  Otherwise, try ASRock then.

Also, keep your GPU in the PCI-E 2.0 x16 always.  No use swapping it.

psst i'm gonna update my sister's computer too
here are the specs, is it safe to use the earlier used link you gave me?

I tested nearly every possibility including "Perhaps my PCI-E slot is busted."
I fiddled with it nearly 4 hours trying to identify the problem.
