Guys I need help. For some reason my hard drive is abnormally constantly reading/writing data even though it should be reading every couple of seconds.

You must have something running in the background.

I need some help with compatibility;

Are these compatible with each other? I'm confused mainly because the motherboard says it's compatible with DDR3 1600MHz (OC), but the memory I have is only DDR3 1600MHz. Does the (OC) make a difference in this case?

They're compatible.

Not sure whether to fix a laptop for myself or get a new video card.

I would just like to say that I did, In fact, purchase that VAIO that I was previously interested in, and it runs like a dream.

No lag on Blockland nor Minecraft at FULL graphics. You were wrong.

I thank you for the input, but unfortunately, was wrong.

im ashamed, you could have done better

Also what's the best gpu I can get with a 460w psu

I'm thinking of a case swap in the next few months. I plan on getting a Corsair 650D or 600T. I currently have an HAF 932 Advanced.
Why I'm thinking is about convenience. My home collects a ton of dust, and my HAF does not have any fan filters.
Also is that the 932 is heavy and too large. Should I go with a case swap?

EDIT: Oh yeah, I have a question about the H60, why can't you use your own fans with it? The guide says to use the one that came with it.

Yeah, those games don't require a powerful GPU. You will notice the lag extremely on other games. You asked if it was a powerful gaming computer, and it isn't.

Would just like to say that you paid about 1.5 times the price that thing was worth. Good job.

6850? Round about there. Depends on the quality. A good quality 460w would be able to run something like a 6950, if it was good enough.

I think the 932 is a great case, however dust will be a problem. Just make sure you get one that is big enough and with lots of dust filters, like in the PSU, in the front, and maybe in the top. If dust is that much of a problem, I would definitely go with a case swap.

I'm sure you could use your own fans, however corsair's fans are pretty decent so are ample. I'd really only swap it out for something like a noctua or something better.

Can you get me THE BEST laptop you can find for $700? If you can, thanks. Any manufacturer as long as it's good and will last a long time.

I'd personally go for the first one. It's smaller (15.6" vs 17.3") and it's, IMO, marginally better. However they are still both really good.

I'd go with a more powerful single card over SLI with lower end cards any day.

matte black with red 3-tone flames on the side :)

Alright, to hell with getting a laptop. My dad, who doesn't know much about computers, even agrees that I should get a desktop, since I can just upgrade it and replace parts when I need to. Thing is, the recommended parts going by each budget in the OP is outdated, the prices have increased. Second, I would need to buy a monitor too. How would I go about choosing one of those for my $800 budget?
