I would be scared to use that PSU.

I would think you might bottleneck that GPU a bit.

Logical Increments PC Buying Guide

I use this and PC Part Picker to help me out when trying to put together my own build. I like to balance the review and the price so I can get a good deal. A lot of stuff is explained in the guide I linked to. Really gives you a nice outline on what to pick, how to pick and all that jib-jab.

Yeah, that guide on /g/ is pretty good.

A bit dated though.

Yeah, it's about a month old. But like it says in the notes, it's just a guide to what parts to pick. Don't go picking the exact ones listed. You still need to do most of the work yourself on picking out the parts, but at least you have an idea on what to look for. Then you can find some more recent parts, check out reviews, compare prices, compare to the parts suggested etc.

Better parts, lower price. The only difference performance wise is that the envy has 3 more hours of battery lfie (and it looks better)

Totally scored today.  Got a free computer with a pentium 4 running at 2.8 ghz, nvidia geforce 6600, 512 mb ram, and 250 gb hard drive.

If it cost you anything you'd be ripped off lol.

Kick-ass, just got the Motherboard, GPU, Monitor, Keyboard + Mouse, RAM and Case from NewEgg. Now I just need to wait for the Optical Drive, HDD, PSU, CPU and the OS to ship from Amazon!

nah, paid nothing for it.  My friends and I got 5 of them for free.

My friend would like a graphics card for under £40. He would like something that can play Just Cause 2 and Payday. And suggestions?
