Okay guys.

I'm attempting to upgrade a computer for my family/home use.


The current computer

I was wondering if it would be possible to add three parts to it.

First off a new GPU which is the Asus AMD Radeon HD 7750
Here

Then it requires a new Power Supply obviously, so I picked the Dynex 520W PSU
Here

Finally a little more system memory with the PNY 4GB DDR3 DIMM
Here

My main concern is will these parts fit inside the case as is, and are they compatible as in will my computer run?

You probably won't have a problem with that PSU or the memory. With that GPU you'll likely bottleneck it with that CPU.

You can upgrade the CPU to a Phenom II x4 with no issues, you'll just need a cooler.

How exepnsive is the cheapest graphics card I can get that'll run shaders on the new 'maximum' level smoothly?

I probably won't be able to answer you regardless, but for the person who can: What FPS do you consider smooth? 30fps, 45, 60?

And how many bricks too.

That would most likely run them acceptably.

Pretty sure you're mistaken. The new maximum settings are more demanding to an extremely significant extent.

I'm pretty sure if my garbage 9500GT can max it fine with 20 FPS at 15K bricks then any other modern card could probably do it incredibly well

I have that same garbage card and it's not smooth enough to build at 30K bricks (not smooth enough being under 28fps).

forget yeah. Finished the build and installed Windows 7. Now I'm just downloading the Chipset, LAN, USB and Audio drivers to a flash drive.

Just making sure, for Intel chipsets - INF is the download I'm looking for right? There's stuff like Management Engine Driver, Rapid Start Driver and other things.

Link to manufacture's website. The INF is the one I should be downloading, correct? Any idea what the other stuff is? Is it important or recommended? NewEgg video guide just mentions the Chipster, LAN, USB and Audio. Anything else I need to know?

Also, I'll post pictures and stuff later on.

Well, I imagine you are going to want all of the drivers for you motherboard so you shouldn't need to pick and choose.

I just went to dell live chat and they said the reason their laptops are so much is that they're "upgradeable"

Well the NewEgg guide I followed mentioned that the only drivers needed are the ones for the Motherboard - Chipset, USB, LAN and Audio and then the driver for the GPU. I already have those installed, and I'm unsure of if I need any other drivers at all, and I have no idea what the other drivers are for on the page I linked to.
