We're going to be getting a new computer soon, and this is going to be our video card.

Good choice? Great choice? Anything better at a lower price?

Okay guys another question,
So I already ordered and received my 600 Watt PSU, but I think I want to upgrade my CPU also now, my question is will a 600 Watt PSU be alright with a GPU requiring 400 Watts and CPU 125 Watts, plus whatever else is in my computer?
Look up a wattage calculator, it will take your actual parts into account and tell you what minimum wattage you need.

Can I get some help with this?

Looks done to me

Looks pretty good to me. I use an asus gpu and I can tell you that directCU works pretty well, my temp stays low and stable all the time. Any 560 is a great value for your money, but I would recommend buying through newegg because they occasionally lower the price for sales and whatnot.

I run a Phenom II x4 and a Radeon 6870 on 550 watts, I think you'll be fine.

Yeah everything seems to be running perfectly fine. Are those other drives optional or something? I have no idea what they are for, and if I'm missing out on anything by not having them installed. The drivers I have installed are for the Chipstet, USB, LAN, Audio and Video Card.

Some infrared stuff, a VGA driver, something for BF3. I guess you could call all drivers optional. If you never plan to use one of the features, then I suppose it doesn't matter.

2x4Gb 1600 MHz CL8 Corsair Vengeance acquired.

I'm thinking of getting a new one

I'm finally getting a desktop computer :)

Bump.
What's currently the best nvidia gpu i can get for <$200? I possibly want to get an upgrade from my gtx 460 I don't know though, it's a pretty good card but I'd like to improve my framerate and such on most games I can't run that well.

6gb ram
quad core cpu at 2.9GHz
430w PSU
nvidia gtx 460
win7 64 bit

I did a passmark benchmark. It is better than my older by a bit except for one..

My old one was:
2x2Gb 1333MHz CL9
This one is:
2x4Gb 1600MHz CL8

Why is there such a tiny difference and one of the tests actually made it end up the older one better?
