My computer is finally all built, installing Windows 7. Awwww yeaaaah
You didn't answer my question. If you are using it as a mobile desktop, wouldn't you rather something that is far more powerful, and better built (Sony aren't that great at computers) for the same price?
IS there anything wrong with an Emachine?
Its fairly powerful but if I could get something even better for the same price, as long as it's not Acer, Gateway, or emachines, then yes. It needs to be available from a site that can ship to the US.
CHEAP BUILD QUALITY
Given that the price of the Vaio is $1450:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230142http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152266http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152283I'd definitely suggest that last one if possible. I mean what, GTX570? 0.0
What slots do you have on your motherboard? What wattage/model is your PSU?How big is your case? i.e is there enough space for a 10 or so inch long video card that is dual or even triple slot? What CPU do you have?
12 GB of DDR3 of RAM... please god let that be a typo. No, actually don't. I want the ASUS now.
I'd spend $50 for the GTX570 over a 560, and I prefer MSI's styling, but that's up to you :)

AMD slots? What?Do you have PCI-E 16x slots? Also, what model is your PSU? 550w is all fine and mighty, but only if your PSU quality is good enough. It might be on the verge for even a $200 GPU.
