The 560 Ti has greater performance, which IMO isn't worth the extra $40. 1GB of video RAM would be enough for you and I would totally recommend this one, especially at the price right now.
The reason I want the 2gb one is that I want to be future proof (as much as I can be) and I already have a 2gb card; a rather poor one at that. I just want the best performance, especially when I get high-res texture mods for Skyrim.

Bitches I require information regarding if my computer can handle TDU2.  The only question if I can or not is on my GPU.  My CPU and RAM is just fine and all that good stuff, but my GPU seems to meet bare minimum in vram.

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 XT

Okay so I'm sick of all the frustration so here goes:

I recently got a new gaming desktop, and here's the problem: I can't connect to the internet (sometimes). Like right now, I can connect, but most of the time I can't. It will stay connected for about 3-4 hours, and then it will disconnect and not connect for another week. My router is in a room on the opposite side of the house. What should I do to keep it connected 24/7? Move the desktop closer to the router? Get another router and modem and connect them to my new computer? I really need help.

I must be stupid if I don't know how to solve this lol.

wireless or not?
if so, then moving the receiver higher up(might want to tape/nail it to a wall)might work.

Do you have a cable outlit in your room? If so you can move your modem and router to your room and plug your computer directly into the router's LAN with and Ethernet cable. That's what I did, my internet is still stuff IMO but at least I can access without randomly loosing connection.

I have $494 currently, looking for a gaming laptop that can run BF3 and Arma 2. I can get some more money soon, so budget is around $520. Anyone know anything or am i forgeted?

Nope. My mom was going to get a guy to come over and run a cable from the outlet in the other room to my room, but she can never get up with him. I'd like to keep my computer in my room, it's nice and peaceful in here compared to where my router is. It's hot in that room, and my brother plays xbox in there so you never know what kind of rage you'll have to deal with.

How good is the $500 dollar build you posted in the OP for gameplay?

Amd radeon 6520g, can it run BF3 along with an AMD A6-3420M 1.5GHz?

Errr, Thats a micro ATX. I need a ATX.

By the way, motherboards aren't usually fast nor slow. However bigger ATX boards have way more expansion ports when compared to mATX boards, and are usually more geared for the high end user, so more reliable and higher grade components etc.

Fathers been looking on BestBuy.com for a computer for me. The reason hes going to bestbuy is because he has an assload of giftcards he can use.
Hes looking mainly at refurbished computers, and he thinks hes found one good.

Im no computer expert, but I think this is OK. Only thing I would do would be replacing the Graphics card with sometthing better.
Hmm. Nah, not very good for the price.
Scrap that, best buy is overpriced. You sure you can't go elsewhere for a better deal like these?:

Sorry, but that's not quite good enough for the game. The requirement is at least a GT 340. The GT 340 is a rebranded GT 240, which in turn is equal ish to a 8800GTS. The HD 2600 XT is equal to a 8500GT. It would probably still run, just not that good.

Guis, help. My dad is making me an offer that I can't (possibly) refuse. My cousin is asking for a trade. He's going to give me a desktop for my laptop.

The desktop, according to what my dad remembers:
1 GB GeForce Video Card
2x 500 GB Hard Drive
He didn't mention the RAM
And an Intel Dual Core E6600
(Vague as forget and I don't understand jack stuff about it but the numbers make me happy)

For my laptop:
ASUS A8n

A 256 MB NVIDIA GeForce 7000m / nForce 610m
59.6 + 89.4 Hard Drive
3008 MB RAM
AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL -56, MMX, 3DNow (2CPUs), ~800MHz
Integrated RAMDAC

Should I accept his offer or not? There is no time limit, since my cousin was grounded from buying laptops when he broke his last year, and his dad is only allowing him the option of trade.

EDIT: Edited my laptop a bit. I still believe my laptop is stuff though. It's old, and gets quite hot at the fan after 15 minutes. :C
